Peter Jiang & Jerry Jiao
Friends of over a decade, Peter and Jerry first met within the humble confines of an elementary school art class. This lasting friendship would span several Model UN conferences, debate tournaments, and even a comedy stint. Peter is a senior in Semiahmoo Secondary’s International Baccalaureate program and has been passionately debating in the world of Model UN. A trombonist, pilot, and debater, Peter likes to dabble in a myriad of activities in his spare time. Jerry is a senior at Fraser Heights Secondary and a lover of the fast-paced and intellectually challenging environment of Model UN. Outside the realm of public speaking, Jerry is always on the hunt for good food, enjoys playing badminton and ultimate frisbee, and takes every chance he gets to jam some piano tunes into his schedule. They are honored to be serving as your Secretaries-General, and look forward to upholding SurreyMUN’s exceptional delegate experience!
A senior at Pacific Academy, Xudi is beyond thrilled to spark new passions in Model UN and empower delegates to make an impact in their communities. His constant participation in Model UN over the years is kindled by the fact that delegates belong to entities dedicated to humanity–diversity is embraced and disputes reconciled. Moreover, the power of diplomacy and public speaking extends far beyond high school years and into a changing future. Beyond Model UN, Xudi finds himself immersed in the International Baccalaureate program. When he’s not working in the student government or attempting to jazz improvise, Xudi can be found exploring profound philosophies, aesthetic food, and elegant sunsets. As the Director-General, Xudi hopes to create an experience punctuated with exhilarating debate, cooperative solution-making, and inspiring goals.

Eric is a grade 12 student at St. George’s School and is ecstatic to serve as the Chief of Staff at SurreyMUN 2018. He’s been in his school’s MUN club since grade 6 and delegated his first conference in grade 7; joining MUN was truly one of his best decisions. He’s been quite active in the MUN community since then and wishes to create an exceptional experience for delegates. Whether you’re a first time delegate or a seasoned veteran, Eric hopes that you can grow, both as an individual and a delegate at SurreyMUN. In his almost non-existent free time, you can find Eric playing Ultimate Frisbee and basketball, or surfing the web for random pieces of information. When he isn’t occupied with Model UN and the International Baccalaureate Programme, Kevin can be found pursuing his emerging hobby of photography and playing badminton.
